Valiant supports BurnRight

We are officially backing the BurnRight campaign, a campaign to help reduce pollution and keep chimney flues safe.

The Burnright campaign has come at a critical time, as the government is looking closely at emissions from domestic fires. We’re keen to lend our support to the campaign to get the message out there and inform stove users of best practise when it comes to burning fuel correctly. We’re one of the first companies to get on board with the movement and we encourage others to also spread the word and get involved.

The BurnRight campaign seeks to bring awareness to issues that most people who use a stove don’t even know is a problem. The campaign will help inform Stove owners how best to operate their Stove by tackling the root of the problem: that wood is often not burnt at a high enough temperature which causes unburned fuel vapours to travel up and out of the chimney causing unnecessary pollution.

Burn Right seeks to help people who use stoves to get it right and make a difference to the air quality where they live. Not only is this good news for the environment, but users will save money, their chimney will be cleaner - and therefore safer - and the chimney and the stove will last longer too.
